"For our upcoming rehearsal dinner, my fiance picked this pair in black. He loved the strap across the front, which makes it so different compared to other men's dress shoes, and they were very comfortable. I understand the other reviewer's comment about the shoe sole. There is no grip on the shoe and it is slippery, so once you begin breaking them in, the color underneath is revealed. These are better quality shoes than most that you'll find out there, but if you are looking for really high-quality shoes look for a different pair. My fiance did end up returning these and going with a pair he found at a different store for the same price."

Great Style
"This is a great shoe. Very elegant, I have a wide foot so it is a bit tight on me but I save these for special occasions when I want to look great. Girls love this shoe."

Worst quality I've ever seen.
"I purchased this pair of shoes thinking that they were a great quality shoes. After wearing them for 2 hours, the sole was losing its color and instead of been a black sole its a cream leather color. I have noticed that the whole shoe is hand painted. I bought brown and black and both are the same bad quality, both hand painted.
I was able to return both at the local DSW store."

"Comparable to Ferragamo double Monk straps that are at least $500 or more. Just make sure you go to a shoe repair shop before you wear them to get anti-slip bottoms attached."
