Decent running shoe
"It's a decent shoe for the money. I just found that the toe area was a little too roomy and there's not enough cushioning for the balls of my feet. I plan to replace the shoe insoles with cushier athletic insoles."

like a glove
"Asics shoes are the most comfortable shoe with good support that I've ever worn. These shoes didnt even need to be broken in, I put them on and ran 3m immediately, no bruises, soreness or blisters. They replaced a pair of Asics that I had been wearing for walking/ running/ everything else you can think of for 2 years. But when I spilled dry mortar on them I knew I needed something new. These have been absolutely perfect!"

my only running shoe
"i've owned about 10 years worth of asics - that equals about 4 pairs of running shoes, 2 cross trainers, and 1 racquetball shoes - and i love them all. the phoenix is the same - supportive, not hot, not constricting, and my feet don't hurt."

Comfy but NOT for running
"I had a pair of similar asics for 4 years and I decided recently it is probably time for a new pair of running sneakers. I tried these on at DSW and thought they were very comfy and had nice arch support. But the first time I went out running in them, I knew something was very, very wrong. I thought maybe I needed to break them in or get used to a new shoe so I gave them another try but after I wound up with two huge blisters on the sides of my feet and very sore shins, I gave up. My heels felt like they were not far enough in the shoe for it to be comfortable. These sneakers are comfortable, IF you're just walking around or using the elliptical or bicycle at the gym. For runners, these are NOT the sneaker for you."

FIRST TIME JOGGER
"After quitting smoking for 2 1/2 years I decided to test out my lungs with a little jogging. I have some past issues with my back so I was a bit concerned (not to mention 54 yrs young). These shoes.........wow, my lungs are happy and my back is fine. There is so much comfort and support I can't begin to thank you enough!"

LOVE Them!!!
"I am an avid runner and this was my first ASICS running shoe purchase and I am very pleased. There was no need to break them in. I went straight to the gym after trying them on for the first time and it felt like I was running on air. I highly recommend these running sneakers.....you won't be disappointed."
