Narrow in Calf
"I had really high hopes for this boot when I ordered it. I've been looking for a tall, high heeled boot that I can walk around the city in all day for a while now. This boot was pretty much perfect, only it was really skinny in the calf. I usually don't have to order extended calf sizes, but there was no way that this boot was going to zip up over my skinny jeans. It fit very well everywhere else."

Classy and simple fall boot
"I really liked the quality of the leather and the lining on the inside. I thought the bottom foot and ankle area was a little tight, and I even ordered a half-size up. The height is perfect and the traction is good. All in all, a beautiful boot that I'm happy with."

Comfy Boot
"I love my boot, it is light, comfy and looking good. But they are runs short i normaly wear size 8 or 8.5 but not i got size 10. I love it. I recommend for my loved ones."

Very tight but love it
"I have a lot of knee high boots from different brands, never had trouble putting them on.
Even the 13.5 inch width leaves plenty room to breathe, but this one felt like custom made for me.
I have a normal calf and this brand has been chalenging to zip them up, but once you do, they are surprisingly steady and comfortable.
I wanted to buy another pair in black but seems like no one is returning size 7.5.

Love them
"These boots are comfortable, stylish, AND weatherprroof. For me, the fit was perfect. I am 5"3"117 pounds. They fit me exactly as I would have liked. My calves aren't big or small - just regular calves. The quality is wonderful. I bet these last for many years."

Comfortable and simple
"These are very comfy and practical. I can wear them with tights and a skirt, or skinny jeans. The foot portion is slightly more narrow than I like, but the leather is so soft that they are still comfy. I am 5'2" so the top of the boot hits right below the knee. I prefer a higher heel, but these will be just right for running around or shopping. Overall, I am happy with my purchase."

Should've listened to the reviews!
"I decided to go ahead and try this despite the reviews saying it was too narrow as I've never had this issue before. It really is too narrow, could barely do it up. It's a shame because the boots look like really good quality and feel pretty comfortable.... I wish I could wear them but these are going back."

ALMOST good
"I wanted to like these boots. Bought it online specifically because the shaft height says 13.5" and 14" wide. I'm 4'11, 100lbs but my calves are kind of big for a girl my size (14") so I thought these boots would be perfect for me! The measurements were accurate...boot height was perfect but fit really tight around my calves. I almost couldn't zip it over my skinny jeans! I also normally wear a size 5.5 but I got a 6 and still very snug to the point of discomfort. I'm thinking of returning it for a 6.5 instead to see if the calf width would be bigger but not sure if its worth it. Going to the store to return it and hoping to find a much better replacement."

Bummer
"The shape of these boots is so nice -- I just wish they fit! The size claims to be medium width, but squeezed my feet and to my horror the zip didn't make it over my calf. I have average size calves and no other boots in my closet are wide calf so this was a huge bummer."

finally - narrow calves!
"Ordered this because of other reviews saying it was really narrow and calves were tight. Have been looking for a boot for my skinny feet and calves for years. This one actually fits. Ordered my normal size 7. I can typically only wear narrow or slim widths."

Woo Hoo!!!!
"I've been looking for years for the perfect dress brown boot. I finally found it. Other reviews had me nervous about the boot fitting over my calf...no problem there. Plenty of room. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs and my calf measures 13" around at the largest point. Product details say they fit up to 14"....I have an inch to spare. Great deal on a great boot!!!"

"This is a high-quality, soft-lined, gorgeous boot, but, it runs short & narrow. The calf circumference is a tad too tight for my 15" calves. I would also prefer a 2 1/2' heel. Wish I didn't have to return it!"

Tight Calf!
"So, despite what most ladies would expect given the appearance of this design, which looks to be a fairly practical, reasonably stylish boot, the calf is truly too small for most people. Because the style looks so practical, I think that's going to be particularly unexpected. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs at most and this doesn't fit. It's very unusual. I don't know if it's the 14" circumference plus the lining or what, but you're going to have to have really SKINNY calves (like, almost no substance or muscle to your calves at all) for this to work for you. I'm giving it two stars because I think it's freakishly small though it probably wouldn't be awful if you are very small. Other tall boots in my closet include Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Cole Haan, Charles David, Marc Jacobs, Matisse, Franco Sarto, Ugg and Sergio Rossi. I am a 7.5 shoe size. I don't think this problem will be limited to me, hence the review/warning!"
