"Ryka's thing is that they make "sneakers for women." Apparently women tend to overpronate (roll onto the outer part of the feet) because we have wide hips. So there is extra support on the outside of this shoe. It felt weird at first, since I wasn't used to it. I had painful feet and ankles the first day or 2, but I've since broken in the sneakers, and I do like them. They are very light-weight and breathable. There seems to be a little bit too much room in the toe region, but they fit snugly where they are supposed to. I don't know a lot about proper running shoe fit, but I do know they fit a heck of a lot better than my old shoes! (don't forget to replace your running shoes every 300-400 miles!)"

Excellent Exercise Shoe

"I really needed a proper light weight running shoe for when I get on the treadmill and for when I do my work out videos that wouldn't agitate my knees like my other so called running shoes. These do the trick and so far they reduce the soreness of my knees that I used to get from running. I recommend this to anyone who works out on a regular basis, you have to have a pair of shoes like these."

Ryka Aspire

"All the shoes in my closet have been hurting my feet lately. I bought these because the great sale price. These shoes are so comfy. I'm walking 3 or 4 miles at a time and my feet don't hurt at all. They are incredibly light. I bought them a month ago and today I bought two more identical for the future."

Finally! A running shoe that doesn't hurt

"I have a high arch, so it's tough for me to find a running shoe that doesn't come too high on the ankle or one that doesn't offer the right arch support. Plus I get foot cramps if the shoe doesn't fit right. After trying several brands, I decided to give Ryka a try.
Amen. The shoe is light, the insole is slanted, and the shoe isn't too wide at the toes. I'm in love."

so-so

"Not very comfortable for the first week of wear. Got these to improve support for work. I'm on my feet all day long and I wanted to help improve my back pain. It was better later, but not as comfortable as I would have liked for the price I paid. Could have gotten the same quality shoe for less at a different store."

Too small

"I typically wear a 9.5 shoe, however for running I usually get a 10. I ordered this shoe in 10 and it fits a little small. I needed it to be a little roomy. It is however a very cute running shoe, lightweight and good support. Sadly I will have to return as the shoe does not come in 10.5."
