A LOT of Fun, but not for a day of walking!
"I had been wanting to try a pair of high-heeled boots and these were a fun and stylish splurge! As other reviewers state, these are not easy to get off, but not really a problem for me to put on. I didn't think they ran small through the calf - but I have a smaller frame.
I wouldn't say that they are the most comfortable boot, but I don't have a problem wearing them for an evening out (as long as it doesn't require a ton of walking). The color is gorgeous and the leather looks beautiful with wear. They are a little bit sexy with just enough 'practical' to make them wearable."

If they had a zipper, maybe
"These boots have a very high heel. This much is obvious. What is not obvious is just how hard this boot is to get on, since these boots have no zipper. You have to be a ballerina to get your foot past the VERY narrow ankle. I did manage to get them on to try them out. The calf area is generous, and the color is nice, but the boots bunched unattractively at the ankle and I needed help to get them off. They are going back."

Beautiful, but not true to size
"I was really excited for these boots and couldn't wait to try them on. Unfortunately, they were about one size too big... I'm an 8.5, so that is the size I ordered, but they were far too big.
So even though they look great and the price was incredible, I am returning them."

Like not Love
"I really like these boots. They are gorgeous and I love that they are leather. But, they are difficult to put on because they are narrow. I also feel like it is not wide calf. I have boots that are regular calf that fit the same as this. Will keep them because I am sure the leather will stretch, but was hoping for a wider calf."

"Love the boots! The chunky heel makes the height managable for comfort and the wide calf actually has extra space. Only two minor complaints 1) they don't have a zipper so they are a bit tough to get off and 2) the color -- a deeper brown would be a plus."

"I love this shoes. It is ture to size and comfortable. Good quality. I hope shaft height is shorter, and the heel is not so high. I am short so it is not look good on me, end up returned back. But i really like it!"

I want to love these boots...
"I have been looking for simple (no buckles/zippers,etc) black boots that I can wear with skinny jeans forever! These completely match that description, and come at a fairly reasonable price. The fit is strange, however. They *just barely* fit over my jeans, and I do not have monster huge calves. The weirdest part is just getting my foot into them. The ankle is sooooo tight! But it is the right size for my foot, so I don't want to go up a size, so I think I am going to keep them, and hope they stretch a bit there. They really do look good, once you get into them."

Loved the Boot, not the fit
"I got these boots and loved them, however, they were way too big. I am normally a 9.5, and my sis who wears a 10.5 said they fit her. i will be returning these but ordering another pair smaller."

"This boot is what I was looking for in terms of black boot. But as other reviewers have said the calf is not 16". I can usually go in between regular and wide calf but these are hard to get on. I've only worn them one day but I suspect the leather will loosen up. Heel is a bit high, and could use a platform in the toe, but not unmanageable. Happy with quality overall."

16 inch cirumference for some sizes
"I just received these boots. The style and heel height are exactly what I was looking for. I have wider calves and have trouble trying to find knee-high boots that fit. These barely fit. The description says it has a 16 inch circumference. I ordered my regular size (six) and the circumference is only 15 inches. Fortunately, because they are leather, and I would only need an extra half an inch to get these one, I can take them to my cobbler to get stretched.
The leather is of good quality and I love the plain style and chunky high heel of this boot. The footbed is minimally padded, so I may have to get some more padding for it. Also, because it is a tall, leather pull-on boot, it takes a few minutes to get them on and off. Just wanted to throw that out there in case you were wondering. They fit true to size in the foot part.
Overall I really like these boots, and am probably going to get them in brown as well."

I want to love them! :P
"They are beautiful boots (pull-on - no zipper), but the fit was off. I am size 6 shoe, average calf size and these worked in the calf area, but I had a difficult time getting the left foot into the foot area. It was way to stiff and rigid around the left foot only. I had to send them back. But now that the price has been reduced, I'm thinking about giving them another try. Maybe I got a defective pair."

Calf not wide enough
"I am a size 10 and these boots were barely wide enough in the calf. I struggled to pull them on. There is no way they would go over skinny jeans or jeggings unless you are a lot smaller. The quality is very good and they are gorgeous, but these are too tight. I sent them back right away. Very disappointed."
