Runs Large!
"These shoes run really large! We ordered a size 13, wondering if it would be too small as my husband normally wears a 13.5 or 14. I'm not sure why, but they fit width wise fine, but he had a lot of room in the toe. We're going to size down, but definitely these run big."

Similar to Sperry Topsider
"I've been buying Sperry Topsiders for a long time and decided to try this one. It's very similar to it. I think the material is thinner than the Topsiders which is why I gave it 4 stars.
The shoe is well made. I've been wearing it for a few months now and I walk a lot so I've put the shoe through some wear and tear. Still all in all, a good shoe.
Pros: Good fit, well made, comfortable to walk in all day.
Cons: Pricey, Sperry has a softer insole (at least I think so), canvas material seems thinner."

Looks good, blisters bad
"The shoes look good and are well built... perhaps too well built. I tried them on for a day around the house and noticed a suspicious rubbing at one heel which I thought would go away with break-in. Wearing them downtown a single day confirmed the suspicion ... rubbed completely raw!
I tried all the recommended things to break down the canvas -- soaking, tumbling, even walked on the heels directly for a bit. No luck. The problem is that the heel counter has a seam where the inner lining comes together at the back, and it's got some kind of nub that isn't very well padded. So I have to wear these with socks which completely defeats the purpose of boat shoes.
So much for style, I'm going to have to go back to wearing my old $15 pair of off-brand leather that doesn't kill my feet!"

"Searched everywhere for this color combo and got lucky with a coupon and free shipping. I did order a half size down as I am wearing these without socks, so normally I wear an 11 but ordered 10.5 and they fit perfectly. I also like that the front of the shoe isn't so completely rounded like other boat shoes but is slightly squared off. Just wish you could tie these without the lace bow showing. Love 'em..."
