Very Uncomfortable
" I bought these shoes for trail hiking and thought they would be great for streams, and difference terrain. I put them on and wore them around the house a bit though and they felt so bad that I just had to take them off and plan to return them. They rubbed in so many places I could see myself with a dozen or more band-aids by the end of the day. The only way to comforably wear these shoes would be with socks and that would defeat the purpose for my purchasing them in the first place. The are very well constructed and nice looking shoes, but not for hiking. "

Nice
" I wish I could keep these but, alas, I will have to return them. I am going to take them to a local store and hopefully they'll have a size 9 that I can try on. I purchased an 8.5 b/c they don't carry wide widths; however, the 8.5 was way too short in the length and did not accommodate for a wide width as other shoes do. I gave them only 3 stars because of the sizing. "

Another J-41 Favorite
" Starting to really like this brand. Earthy, often vegetarian, rugged, often built from recycled materials, attractively designed, very comfortable, versatile...You get the picture. An attorney acquaintance of mine, whose shoes I often admire, couldn't quit staring at these and expressing how much she liked them. "
