Jack Purcell - not as you remembered
" Canvas is very thin, no logo on tongue, air holes are buried below inter-sole. Poor quality now that they are made overseas. It's just "ok" , not at all what they used to be... much lower quality shoe. Unless you are stuck in the 60's (like me) find another shoe would be my counsel. "

The Great White Sneaker
" Fantastic looking classic white canvas shoe. Ran a half size larger than the regular converse. I wear a 10.5 in Converse and an 11 in JPs, YMMV. Quick Shipping, great product! "
