Comfortable, Sweet-Looking, Lightweight Sandal
" I've always liked the look of gladiator sandals, but felt that their typically-flat and uber-thin soles were both bad on the back and dangerous when walking in downtown urban areas, especially where there is a lot of broken glass. Plus, I'm just a bit north of five-feet tall, so any additional height-boost is gladly-accepted.
Enter these perky and feminine little sandals! While not exactly "gladiator-style," they have a slight look to them that is reminiscent of that style while, thankfully, still being not TOO "hip" that they'll be out of style in a season or two. I found that once my toes were accustomed to the at-first-awkward feeling of the thong between them, I was quite comfortable and felt almost barefoot. The slight wedge is a sturdy, slightly-leg-elongated addition for which I'm grateful.
I got a 5.5, although I think a 5 would've been better in terms of fitting in the heel area. However, I also think my toes would've overhung the shoe's point, in a smaller size, so I'm keeping the 5.5. Luckily, too, these sandals have an adjustable strap that goes around the ankle without cutting off circulation or being uncomfortable. So, even if your legs and/or feet begin to swell during the summer heat, there's plenty of room to move your foot around while still be "fastened in."
These are certainly versatile shoes and I think I'll wear them with casual denim outfits (jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts) and work-related outfits. They'd look great with a simple dress or a fancy party dress, too. They only con is that they're not real leather (which I knew when buying them), so they may begin to wear a bit, especially around the clasp part.
Over all, though, they're cute, lightweight, comfortable, supportive, and able to fit into any kind of wardrobe. "

So cute...so uncomfortable
" I'm really sad about these shoes because they have a such a great look and appear to be well-made; but, they are the most uncomfortable shoes that I've ever worn. I usually can wear any shoe without a problem; but, the thong on these are extremely uncomfortable and they were the first shoes that I've ever had the left my arches sore at the end of the day. I only wore them once to work and am afraid it was money down the toilet as I won't be able to wear them now that they've been worn. "

Classic & Versatile
" I am a size 6 and ordered a size 6. It fits well. The strap between the toes might feel a bit squeeze but I think it might need some break in. I didn't feel the cut on the back of the heel as I probably hasn't wore it long enough yet. The leather straps look pretty sturdy and soft. Overall, I love the design and style. It goes well with shorts and skirts. The height of the heel is comfortable. I got a pair in taupe and it looks great with any color of clothing. Great buy! "
