Very chic but needs to be more comfortable
" My second sincere request for makers of Naturalizer- "Good job with the look of the shoes but PLEASE PLEASE fix the comfort of the shoes on the inside, especially the feel of the stitch or hem of the shoes"
I have purchased two naturalizer brands before and can safely say that their shoes look very stylish and smart. However, they are not immediately comfortable and need some time breaking in. The main problem (and I have addressed this in a previous naturalizer review) seems to be the inside stitch which is unfinished and rough, bruising the skin. I was really excited about this one because the brown is a natural neutral and can go with any summer wear, besides the style is causal, but even with this shoe my feet hurt and got bruise marks on day 1. Now I wear them with socks and would dare to try them without only after I give them a couple of weeks. Ideally I would like to wear them without socks to go with capris/ shorts/ skirts etc. The sole and cushioning itself is quite good and walking feels natural.
A side note: I would recommend people with high protrusions on the sides of their ankles (fibulae) to try these shoes and see if they feel comfortable. Notice that the sides of the shoes are quite high and might hit the bone while walking causing discomfort. The sides of the shoes are quite tough and do not soften soon enough with regular wear- that is the problem here. "
