Uncomfortable
"These sandals are beautiful to look at but unfortunately the back section is cut so high up the back of your foot it digs into your flesh. And the shape is a round pointed shape so it really digs in. I am disappointed that any shoe designer would have such a bad design on a shoe. I took about 10 steps in these sandals and I already have a red spot at the back of my foot, just below my ankle. If I were to were these all day I would most definitely have a blister."

Oh my aching Achilles!
"These shoes HURT. I read another reviewer who stated that the back of the shoe is too tall. I ordered a half size larger (size 9) hoping that I could slide my foot forward into the front and eleviate any rubbing in back. No such luck because the shoe runs very long and it left a 1" gap in the back. An additional problem is that the strap is too short and when you buckle the shoes, the strap pulls the upper directly into your Achilles. The shoe runs very large. My sister and co-worker both wear a 10, so they tried and had the same problem with the achilles. I will return them and get something else."

So cute, but had to return
"Just as another reviewer said, these shoes come up too high at the back of the ankle and rub. The leather there is strong, so no amount of bending it seemed to soften it up. I thought that since I have very skinny ankles, I might not have this problem with the shoe, but I do. Otherwise the shoes are comfortable and very attractive on. I'm sorry to have to return them."

Gorgeous shoes!
"These shoes are gorgeous and just what I was looking for, however I am returning them. Just trying them on and walking for just a couple minutes I found the back of the shoe came up too far on my ankle and actually poked into the back of my leg. It was very uncomfortable. I really didn't want to have to return them, but I can't wear them like that. Otherwise, the size was perfect and the rest of the shoe was comfy."
