" I had a similar pair of these shoes a few years ago, but wore them until they fell apart. I was thrilled to find these at DSW, which were also on sale! I bought these shoes in red and in navy. The previous reviewer indicated an odor from the shoes, and for this reason she returned them. I wanted to write a review to say that neither pair I purchased had an odor. I am glad I made the purchase. I feel badly for the prior reviewer because these shoes are not only very stylist, they are also very comfortable. I wore them for the first time when I hosted a baby shower at my house. I was on my feet the entire day. I had no problems, pain or blisters, as one would expect from new shoes. Hopefully the odor eminating from the pair purchased by the last reviewed was due to a packaging defect or something else. I'm sorry she couldn't keep her shoes. "
