"I had a similar pair of these shoes a few years ago, but wore them until they fell apart. I was thrilled to find these at DSW, which were also on sale! I bought these shoes in red and in navy. The previous reviewer indicated an odor from the shoes, and for this reason she returned them. I wanted to write a review to say that neither pair I purchased had an odor. I am glad I made the purchase. I feel badly for the prior reviewer because these shoes are not only very stylist, they are also very comfortable. I wore them for the first time when I hosted a baby shower at my house. I was on my feet the entire day. I had no problems, pain or blisters, as one would expect from new shoes. Hopefully the odor eminating from the pair purchased by the last reviewed was due to a packaging defect or something else. I'm sorry she couldn't keep her shoes."

Smelly Shoes
"She's right! They were exactly what I was looking for. I don't know know why but when I got home I decided to check out DSW online to see if they had my shoes. Well when I smelled the shoes I almost died! It's true! The stink lingers on your hands and even emits from the box! I am so grateful for the review because if I had worn them to work I would have been so embarrassed. They are going back!"

Shoes smell awful...is this a fluke???
"I loved these shoes at the store...until I got home and wore them to work. I do not know if it is the glue that was used to put the shoes together or the cork, but they seriously stink! I am a teacher and my students even asked what the smell was today at work. When I got in the car to go home, I put them in a plastic bag and drove home barefoot. I SWEAR this is not a joke post. Think twice before you buy them. Unfortunately, I threw the box away when I got home. I'm going to try to return them to DSW and contact Unisa about this because I obviously cannot wear them."
