Love the Skechers Bobs
"My 6 year-old daughter really wanted the sparkly Tom's shoes because all her friends were wearing them (of course!) When we went to look at them in the store, I saw the poor quality workmanship.
Then, while searching the DSW website, I found these great Skechers Bob sneakers. While they look similar to the Tom's shoes, they have a nice thick flexible sole, a great padded lining, and even an arch support. As an added bonus, Skechers donates a pair of shoes for each pair purchased, just like Tom's! I was instantly sold, and we bought them. They ran a little long, so I made an inner sole for them out of an adult Dr. Scholl inner sole, and they were perfect. She looked at them in the mirror, like she was wearing Cinderella's glass slippers.
Within five minutes of wearing them outside, she stepped in a mud puddle, and same back, sobbing. I brought them inside, cleaned them with water and a paper towel, and they were good as new. Happy customer!"
