High Quality
" I have owned 5-6 pairs of Mercanti Fiorentini, and this was my first venture away from them for a dress shoe. The quality of the Mezlan is impressive. Very fashionable, sleek, great looking. It does seem to run a bit narrower than the Mercanti's, but I use shoe trees in all my shoes so that will help over time. The stitching on the sole, and the double thick rubber at the heel back should also help with longevity. All in all I love the shoe, and think the quality is worth the price. "

Two Dollar Rembrandt
" This shoe is gorgeous out of the box. Great shape, amazing burnished congnac color, befitting a shoe that retails at almost $300. First day, I received multiple compliments. Too bad the wrinkles that develop within the first few hours wearing shoes, revealed a lighter brown undertone as if the color wasn't deep enough in the leather but "painted" on. Dissapointing. I'll try to treat with shoe cream. "
