Great Boots
"I'm just sad that the sun is out. Unless we get some unseasonably cool weather, I'll probably have to wait until next Fall to wear my new favorite boots. The shaft of these boots IS tight. Fortunately for me, I have a small calf, so it isn't a problem. The lacing portion allows you some ability to snug up the portion around the ankle, but because of the way the boot is constructed, you really can't loosen the top. I did see that there were comments about how expensive it would be to have a cobbler take that apart to loosen it - here's my suggestion: Ask the cobbler to just add an elastic gore at the top for some extra 'give'. Should be a pretty simple solution."

Great boots but just order your regular size
"I read all the review before buying this boots and that was a mistake, almost everybody is suggesting to size up and I did for 1/2 sz. BIG MISTAKE! I ordered a 8 and now i would like to change it for 7.5 or even 7 but the sz is not available anymore. If you have normal to skinny ankles and legs just order your regular size and you'll be perfect."

Sexy!
"Got tons of compliments with these boots, I have long legs but with these boots they look like they're miles long. I don't usually get heels this high but they're comfortable enough. The top of the boot where it wraps around the calf area is a little tight but it doesn't hurt & of course it will stretch overtime, same goes for the are around the ankle. Definitely size up but a must have!"

Sexy boots
"These sexy boots can seriously dress up any outfit. The quality of workmanship is definitely outstanding with the leather. The footbed may be too narrow for some people. It fit me fine, but I have narrow 6 1/2 sized feet. And the shaft might be a snug fit for most. They're a bit snug for me. They're pretty comfy, considering the height of the heel. In all they're definitely a fun pair of boots to have available in your closet!"

These boots are made for walking!
"I arrived in NYC with no boots on a snowy day. I found these boots on DSW.com and then found them at the closest store, in my size! I hesitated and asked a saleswoman for her opinion, because my calves are pretty skinny and boots never seem to fit me well. I decided, seeing they were on sale and I wanted dry feet, to go for it. They fit me well over jeans, and more snuggly once I put some tall socks under them, but I'm still frustrated that they're so wide on me when people said they fit close in the reviews. I'm 5'7", 110 pounds and I've laced these as tight as they can go. On the plus side, I walked around in them a lot and didn't end up in pain. I might add a little padding to the toe area, but other than that, so far, so good! We'll see how they hold up."

beautiful boot if your calf is 12 3/4"
"Buyer beware, this boot is so well made, the leather is wonderful quality, the foot fits perfectly, but the advertised 15" calf is really only 12 3/4". My calves are 14 1/4 " so I though I would be ok, not even close! I read the reviews only after the purchase, so I went to 4 different shoe repairs and an old school cobbler to rework the tongue. No one would touch it for less than $115, so sad, these boots are so beautiful... It's a shame I had to return them. If you have very narrow calves, under 12 3/4" buy them, you will love them."

cute, but narrow
"I do not have a large calf, but still find these tight at the top. They are also tight across the top of my foot. I'd have preferred to order a size up, but it was not available so I am going to stretch out those areas a little. Fantastic looking boot though!"

"I bought these boots for bikeweek - and they are comfortable on the ball and toes of my foot for walking which is very important. They don't crush my toe in any way... Unfortunately the shaft is SO tight I had to pay an extra $25 at my local cobbler shop to have them stretched :) But considering I wear a 5 and it's hard for me to find nice stuff in my size and these were on sale... I'm only five feet tall and weigh 100 pounds - I'm not large... so keep that in mind when purchasing."

Vampy Black boot
"I wear them with skinny jeans at home and long skirts at work; I would NOT wear these with a short skirt because they're just a little to close to dominatrix boots for that (the laces definitely give it a bad girl vibe).
I'm glad I got it a 8, the 7.5 was a little narrow.

You should order A size above
"The previous reviews are serious- these boots are way tight, esp in the upper calf, right at the end of the zipper. 15" calves still run tight for me.... Other than that, the boots look stylish. Girls, you will get a lot of notice wearing these boots."

Great Boots

skinny calf
"I have skinny calf (13.5)and normally have a very hard time finding boots that fits my legs without having a huge gap so when i read reviews saying it's too tight, i knew this would work for me.
I'm 5'2'' and the shaft come up just under the knees. the boots are pretty comfortable considering the height of the heels(I'm a flat kina girl so I'm not used to high heels)and people always compliment my boots anywhere I go!"

Great choice for a gift
"I bought these boots as a gift for my daughter. She loves them but I would not recommend for someone with wide calves. The laces are strictly for looks they do not tighten or loosen"
