" I am very petite--5'2" and about 90-ish lbs--and it is always very difficult for me to find tall boots that are not huge around my calves. These fit wonderfully around my skinny calves and look very sleek and work well with dresses, skirts, and jeans. I like that they come right below my knee and that the heel is high but very comfortable to walk in. These boots are well worth the investment. "

" I love them definitely. Agree that they are a bit narrow and suggest that should go up half size for safe and more comfortable although I have no problem to put them on at all (my size 6.5). I'm sure after couple of times wearing them will make the leather softer a little bit. Light weight and good quality leather... Luxury with high waist skinny jeans and biker leather jackets. "

" I love these. I read a lot of the other reviews and while I do agree that they run a bit narrow on the ankle and top of the foot, with a lightweight sock they tend to do just fine. I wear mine with skinny jeans and haven't had a problem with the calves being too narrow. These are beautiful boots with a mid-weight, good leather to them, and while the tongue is sewn in place, they can be adjusted a little. As far as sizing goes, I'm normally a 6.5, but I went with a 7 on these and they are a comfy, but not too loose fit. Also, I'm 5'2" and petite, and I haven't had any problems with the shaft being too long for my legs, it sits just below my knee. "
