looks better in photo
" This shoes looks better than its photo. It is narrow at the top so if you have calves don't consider this boot. i bought it 1/2 size larger and it fits but I cant see where I can return it. It is okay, I saw it at saks the weekend before but this shoes is not like the one in the store. I am disaapointmented. This was my first time buying from dsw online and I can't figure out how to SAY RETURN. "

Shafted Surprise
" I love this boot. It's the perfect union of "sexy grandma" and "biker chick". The stacked heel is the perfect height and not too chunky. Thick socks are a no-no, but thin dress socks or opaque tights would be perfect. I was afraid the shaft wouldn't go over my muscular calves, but it was a "Goldilocks Fit", just right! "

Great for shorter legs
" I picked this boot because the shaft is a little longer than most, but the boot shaft is shaped for the back of the calf, and the shaping was too low for my leg. Size 8 boot shaft length=15.25", shaft circumference at widest=14.25" Widest part of shaft is 11-12" up from where heel attaches to boot. Also, the lacing is NOT adjustable because the tongue is sewn in place. Maybe you could cinch it in a bit, but definitely not make it larger aroung the calf. BUT this is a very nicely made boot of good quality leather, not cheap looking. Wont work on my 19" long calves, but VERY nice boot for a shorter girl. Kind of sexy in a different way. "
