Great lazy summer shoe
" I wanted to keep up with the boat shoe trend, but I can't bear to wear anything too 80s. These Rocket Dogs are a great compromise. They are very comfortable, so comfortable that the first day I took them out of the box I wore them for a good twelve hours with at least three miles of city walking while shopping, and I didn't get a single blister. The canvas breathes well, too. One thing I don't like is that the description said the sole was synthetic, but in reality, it's rope with synthetic rubber around the edges. They wouldn't be wearable in the rain even with a full synthetic sole, but the rope sole will fall apart faster. I think it might not matter, because I'll be wearing them so much this summer that I'll be sick of them by next year!
They do seem to run a little short, and a little wide. I'm a 10.5 and bought the 11, so I was surprised to find my toes right up in the tip of the shoe. It didn't detract from the comfort level, though, and the canvas will stretch. I do worry that the stretching will make them way too wide, but it's too early to say. "
