Ok boot
" I am very picky when it comes to boots so 3 stars is actually a fairly good rating for me. I have rather needy feet so I need shoes that have an above average insole -- these were only average quality. I listed them as slightly wide because my foot is slightly wide, with a bunion, and these fit well in that respect. They felt well-made and looked good, they just weren't exactly what I was looking for. (I need flat boots but I'm not a huge fan of the block heel, currently.) I ordered these because I liked the lace up detail in back. Still like that - it looked cute - these boots just weren't perfect enough to keep. I would say I have average width calves and the calves on these fit well, plus they were adjustable. So, if you like the way these look and your feet aren't as finicky as mine, I'd say go for it. (by the way, DSW employee was great about return and return was so easy at my local store.) "

Snug boot
" I love this boot, however I felt it was snugger than anticipated. I measured my calf to make sure it wasn't going to be too tight. I put the boot on and felt that it was pretty snug and anticipate to get a good workout when putting these on. However, I haven't worn them yet, I'm a little bummed that maybe I won't be able to wear them with leggings...so, I guess this will be my skirt boot! "

David Tate Snug Wide Calf Boots
" Nice boots that fit well, but if you have wide calfs, they may be a little too snug. I generally need wide calf boots and these were a little too tight for my calfs. Looked like they were nice and comfy, but I will be returning because I can't zip them all the way up. "
