Love Them
" I have a very hard time finding boots that fit my wider calves. After much searching I found these boots. I ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear, 8 instead of 7 1/2. They are a little big, but with a pair of socks they fit fine. I have a 16 3/4 size calf and these zip up over leggings, tights and even skinny jeans. I have gotten a ton of compliments on them. The leather is super soft and so beautifully detailed with the tooled design. I would definitely buy these again. "

Bulky Ankles
" These boots are beautiful and very comfy. I ordered the 7 xwide and they fit my foot great. I have a 17inch calf and they were just a little bit tight after I zipped them up. The problem was the extremely bulky ankle which made my ankle super frumpy. I was pretty disappointed. Just because our calves are big does not mean our ankles follow suit. Too bad they weren't more narrow in the ankle!! "

Very weird fitting boot
" I bought this boot because it looked very nice from the online pictures but once I received and put them on, I realized the fit is extremely weird. It's a wide calf boot which that part fit as it should but the ankle section was very big and bulky looking. Not cute at all! I returned immediately! "

Not quite right
" I have large calves (17"!!) and these fit perfect around the calf, but were too large in the ankle and too wide on the foot. Perhaps my foot width and ankle/lower leg are normal size and just my calves are huge, even so, the boots look disproportionate in those areas. Cute style, but not quite the right fit. The quality of the boot and leather was OK, but for the price should be nicer. "
