Where is the "tongue"?

"I am going to have to return these sneakers. The tongue of the shoe is a lot shorter than most sneakers. It is an awkward wear. Otherwise, these sneakers are lightweight. I see them working as a casual sneaker...those looking for support, look elsewhere."
