Very nice
"Great boot! The heel isn't too high, so it's not impractical. In fact, being a rain boot, it's quite useful here in rainy Michigan! I feel the heel is a little rounded or narrow, as it will rock; I think the balance could be better. However, overall, it is a comfy, attractive, sensible boot."

"These boots are great! They're comfortable and stylish.
It sounds like lots of people are having trouble with the zipper functioning properly... That's probably because THE ZIPPER IS DECORATIVE!!! It even says so in the product description:
10" shaft height, pull on
Outside decorative zipper
Outside decorative zipper
So, buy these cute rain boots if you like them, but don't try to use the zipper and they'll be just fine."

Above the rain!
"So I needed a boot that wouldn't get wet in the rain or at least soaked in the rain if it did! So I bought these and the reviews were right. The zipper is super difficult and I plan on leaving it up because it gets stuck. I plan on just leaving the zipper up and rocking them like that."

The Zipper Problem
"Like others had stated, the problem with this boot is the zipper. On the left boot, I was only able to upzip about five/six teeth. The right boot, almost half way to zip down. I was able to take off the boot without upzipping it. The boot is almost mid-calf. There is cloth material inside the boot, but its not thick or fleece. The best feature of the boot is the wedge heel; yet, its not enough for me to keep these boots."

Inspite of other reviews I bought these...
"...and everyone who said there were zipper issues was absolutely right! My very first time wearing the boots, they looked so cute and were so comfy. After standing in a park for a few minutes, I looked down and saw my left boot wide open. The zipper clasp was gone. It just fell off somehow."

Uncomfortable, Faulty, and Clunky
"I purchased these boots because I wanted a rain boot with a wedge for a more comfortable fit. However, once I wore the boots, there were many things wrong with it:
A zipper is always a great feature on a rainboot, however the zipper did not work properly. I had to force the zipper to open and once it opened, I had a hard time closing it. These boots also fit me large (I am a size 7) and whenever I walked my feet continued to slide to the front of the boot because of the wedge. In addition to my foot sliding to the front of the boot, they were large around my calves. Lastly, they are very heavy, clunky, and uncomfortable.
I would not recommend these boots."

Defective zipper or shoe?
"This boot was a steal at $20 so i didn't look too closely at what i was buying.The zipper teeth were crooked and thus did not zip up. I saw quite a few of these pairs in the clearance aisle, so was this one defective boot or were most of the boots defective? I will exchange them and report back."
