Comfortably chic!
" I'm shocked these shoes have such a soft sole and yet I didn't see this specifically mentioned in the reviews I read. The footbed of these sandals is a gel cushion and since the wedge isn't that big these are the perfect walk-in-all-day shoe. The design is classic yet sexy, which makes the shoes good for wearing with your favorite summer dress or a pair of jeans. "

" Very nice pair of wedges. I got a pair in brown and adore them. I don't work well with tall sandals but these are the perfect in-between of giving me some height but not too much so I can actually walk in them. My only concern is the front strap as it rubs against my toes and on the first day of wearing them, I got a blister. Hopefully I just have to break them in or work with the strap. But overall, I think they are a great pair of sandals for the summer! "

Perfect! Exactly what i was looking for!
" I have been on a search for some basic black open toe sandals with a low wedge height. I can’t really wear too high of a heel. Or more so my feet can’t handle high heels anymore! (or my back!) I wanted to stick to something that was low enough for all day wear but had some height that made it look dressy for work. I had tried on a pair of Me Too sandals at a department store but I didn’t want to spend $99 on them. I only wear them during the season and to work. My work shoes tend to last me a long time. I will occasionally wear them to an event if need be. When I tried the one pair I found at the other department store, I immediately fell in love with how the foot bed of the shoe was so squishy and I knew that it would be comfy enough for all day wear. Also the style that I tried on had a Velcro closure instead of a buckle closure so when I took my first step the closure came undone. So if not closed properly then it will not hold and can be hazardous, especially for someone like me! LOL So I decided to check out the DSW website for this brand and I came across the “Knock Wedge” sandals. They didn’t have them at my nearest store so I had to order online. Since I was able to receive free shipping and return at the store if it didn’t work out (which is a high selling point for me when it comes to ordering items online) I decided that I would just purchase the black pair. (I loved all the colors!) I received them within a week. I had it shipped to work so once I received them I opened the box and I immediately put them on and wore them around the office to test, about a couple of hours the first day. Then I wore them for another few hours the next. At that point I decided to keep them. On the third day I wore them all day. And just as I had thought, because of the squishy insole, feet felt fine all day and wasn’t the least bit tired. I also kept them on when I was running errands on my lunch. (I tend to be a Mr. Rogers and switch out to flip flops or more comfy shoes to run around in when doing errands during an hour lunchtime.) The strap across the toes did cut into my toes a little, but not enough to break the deal. I imagine after they are truly broken in and it stretches a bit, it’ll be fine. The strap around the ankle is wide enough that when walking even at a fast pace, it feels really secure! I love that it is a buckle closure! And since it is a buckle closures there are no issues with the closure opening or the shoe moving around or falling off of your foot! The ankle strap is wide enough that it sits perfect on the top of my foot and doesn’t cut in at all. I also like how the espadrille (the braided rope) on the heel is also black and not the natural color. This helps to make it look dressier for work. I do wish the insole of the shoe was also black. But I’m not going to be too picky since I’ve had such a hard time just finding something simple that didn’t break the budget! I plan on ordering the other 2 colors as well. I expect these to last me for years to come. And since they are basic shoes they will stand the test of time and all the fashion fads that come and go. "
