Great shoe, weird smell
"These shoes look great, very nice details in the d'orsay side to make them nicer than your usual flats. But after just a couple of wears they SMELL. Not bad feet smell, a weird bad leather smell, I can't even put my fingers on it. I have to leave them outside at night and in a drawer when I'm at work. I could smell them on myself on the bus. I'm hoping it wears off eventually."

Lovely but stinky
"These shoes look and feel nice but I wish they weren't because they stink like vomit. I read reviews about how bad it smelled but I ignored them. Now, they are sitting in my garage airing out cos I can't stand to be around the smell."

cute shoes, weird smell
"i read the one review about the smell and hoped it was just a random incident. but after wearing these flats to work today i can't escape the smell! i don't know how to describe it either. i'm not sure if the black ones smell too, i have the nude.
the shoes are really cute, and pretty comfortable.

Cute shoes, weird chemical smell
"I loved the look of these - a step up from the normal flats I choose! They are really cute and fit well, too, but unfortunately there's a strong chemical smell given off so these will be returned before getting to actually wear them."

"The shoe has a nice, dressy and retro look that elevates it above the standard ballet flat. Patent leather always makes shoes look more elegant. This would look cute with retro capris or a pencil skirt."

This shoe made my room smell awful
"I tried this shoe on in the store and absolutely loved it. I wear 11 and have trouble finding shoes that fit, but this fit perfectly and was super cute and comfortable. The next day, though, I noticed that my room smelled really weird, almost like one of my dogs did their duty in there. So I looked everywhere and tracked the smell to these shoes. Yes, they were so smelly they stank up the room. It obviously took a while because I didn't notice the smell right away, but no one would want shoes like that at work or anywhere else for that matter.
I even went back to DSW and smelled all the other sizes of that shoe to make sure I didn't just get a weird one. I must have been quite a sight smelling all those shoes, but I really liked these and wanted so badly for them to be perfect. All of them smelled the same. I am so disappointed and am going to return the shoes. I just hope I can find something similar. :("

Staple shoe with flair
"I couldn't be happier with this shoe. Of all of the nude colored flats out there right now, this is one of the more versatile and stylish options that I've seen. The pointed toe and patent leather material makes this a dressy option that is as appropriate for work as it is for a wedding. One of the nicest features is the open insole. It adds extra style, without taking away from the "classic" design of the shoe. And what a comfy pair of shoes! You will not regret buying these!"
