Good trail shoes
" I just ran a Spartan obstacle course race in these. They held up very well. They also felt good when I took them out on the pavement. Overall, they are a solid shoe with good cushioning. They are also lightweight, but they aren't minimalist/low profile/very low heel shoes. That is a good thing for those of us trying to be careful with old achilles issues. "

Very comfortable Saucony
" I buy too many shoes. But I can afford it. I hadn't bought Saucony for years until I bought the Kinvara 2 for the colors. When I wanted something to walk the golf course in comfort I bought this Grid Excursion TR6. I haven't used it on the course yet. But I enjoy wearing them around town when the color works because they are so absolutely comfortable. I just ordered another Saucony, Progrid Rider 3. We'll see if it convinces me that Saucony is my current choice in shoes. "
