Different feet
" Just wanted to say that people definitely have different feet! I loved this shoe and so did my husband. I got it off the clearance rack in gold. I would have gotten the silver too, but I already have a silver shoe. Funny, because as soon as I put it on, it was the only shoe that fit well right away. And, I wore it at home for quite awhile without too much pain. "

" The shoe is pretty, looks better in person than on the page. I normally wear a 9m, sometimes a 8.5m but this shoe I needed a 9.5m. Just walking around the house the shoe hurt the ball of my foot. I'm returning them because I found a very similar shoe at DSW that was super comfortable. "
