Nice shoe, but probably not worth the $$
" First off, I LOVE Asics shoes. It is my number 1 brand of choice, so when I came across the Rebel, I was quite intrigued. At this pricepoint, I expected this shoe to be better than any other shoe in the Asics line. This was not to be. It is quite comfortable when wearing them, but running in them feels ... clunky. Far less cushion/bounce than my Nimbus. They feel heavier than I thought they would be also. I have yet to do a timed run in them, so MAYBE I'll be surprised, but I doubt it. "

Very comfortable and light weight
" I have been wearing Asics for 5 years. I think they are the best running shoes on the market. The Gel Rebel are very light and comfortable. But they lack good arch support and they are not as stable as the Gel Kayano 18. If you want a shoe with arch support and a shoe you can cross train with, I recommend the Gel Kayano 18 over the Gel Rebel, but for sure I recommend Asic for comfort and durability. Expensive, but worth every penny! "
