Disappointed (online purchase)
" I'm an AVID DSW shopper, in store and online, much to my husband's chagrin. I've had nothing but very positive experiences in both mediums with DSW. That said: I ordered these shoes in the white or cream, depending on your view. When I received them, they looked like they'd already been worn! There were scratches, color transfer,and dark smudges all over them. In addition, the bottom of the shoes had a chunk of what appeared to be dirty gum or gum like material as well as other tell tale signs of wear. I was shocked. All the other wrapping around buckles and packaging was intact as expected. I figured I just received a bum pair. I returned them to the store and they were great and reordered another pair as none were in stock at the store. They, customer service, were kind, helpful, and seemed disturbed at the condition of the shoes and apologetic when rectifying the issue. KUDOS to the staff as always.
Several days later the replacements arrived. In the same condition save the bottom of the shoe appearing as if it had been worn prior, as this pair's bottom was unmarked. I began to suspect that perhaps the handling or packaging of the shoe combined with its very light color made it susceptible to the markings. (Or maybe it's intended to look distressed however the black pair I ordered have no similar qualities and if that was intended it just makes them look dirty not stylishly distressed.) Once again, I returned them to a very helpful and gracious customer service staff, for something else.
This shoe is great in black but I highly suggest you utilize in store purchase if intending to go with the lighter color. Perhaps it was two flukes but it seems an odd coincidence. If you decide to order online, be prepared to save your receipt in the event you have a similar experience. Again the black color was fine and there was no trouble with the customer service for returns. Actually, they were amazing. Just be warned regarding the light color. Also, the shoe is a little wide and perhaps not as dainty or delicate looking as on line. Not a deal breaker but it did alter somewhat, the types of outfits I'm willing to wear them with. "

Love these
" I love these booties. I bought them to go with a long skirt but they look really nice with slacks as well. Supper comfy all day at work and I have to go up and down stairs numerous times a day. And the cut outs show off patterned tights nicely. "
