Comfortable, not snug
"These shoes are exceedingly comfortable, indoors and out. The sole is wide enough to feel balanced. My only problem with it is that the laces do not come high up the foot, meaning it cannot be tied as tightly as I normally like."

perfect for spring!
"These shoes are super comfy. I have gotten them a little dirty already and have only been wearing them for a week. So keeping them clean might be a challenge especially since underneath the removable padded insert there's cardboard and probably wouldn't do too well if it got wet. These shoes will look really nice with shorts and capris."

Squeaky!
"These shoes are so cute and comfy and true to size. When I wore them, I thought I had found the perfect alternative to Keds. They look similar to keds but have a much more supportive sole. However, they are SO SQUEAKY. Walking on hard surfaces with these shoes made me feel like a little toddler with squeaky shoes. Not a good look for a 20-something. They went back to the store. Not sure if this is common with all Grasshoppers...."

Super cute & comfortable
"I bought these for my teenage daughter. She has to wear shoes with good support but wants them to look cute. That's not always easy to find. These look like the canvas lace-ups her friends wear, but are so much better for your feet. The insole is soft and cushions your feet. It is also removable so it can accommodate a custom orthotic. These ran just a bit narrow, so I had to return them for a wide width in the same size.
My only complaint about these shoes is that the material underneath the insole appears to be cardboard. That seems like a terrible choice of material for a shoe (and is the reason I only gave these 4 stars.) My daughter hasn't had them very long, but I'm concerned that the cardboard will deteriorate quickly if it gets wet."

Average but solid
"This is a replacement pair & it's not a wide as the first pair. Wear them primarily for work, but wear them everywhere! Being on my feet for 5-10 hrs, the light weightedness doesn't drag my feet. Love the light blue canvas and the cushion insert."
