Buy a half size down.
"I typically have a wider foot and find medium sizing uncomfortable at times but I bought these anyways... They were on the wider size for a medium... and they run large on the length I would buy a half size, if not a full size down. I'm returning them for a smaller size."

I love all things BORN
"I have over 10 pair of BORN / B.O.C. shoes. These shoes are by far the most problematic. I am a true size 7. The 7 I received slipped off. No amount of added padding would help. I ordered a 6.5. These shoes fit length wise but they are so narrow in the toe area that they are uncomfortable. These shoes are super cute I just wish they were made better."

Super Cute, Good Width, Pretty Comfy
"When I saw these shoes, I couldn't wait to run out and buy them. They're exactly what I was looking for. They are very cute and look just like the picture. The heel is a little high, but the platform in front makes up for it so it doesn't feel too high. I prefer shoes with a little width. While the width is pretty average, the tie in front can be tightened or loosened to make the shoe more narrow or wide depending on your preferance. The padding in the shoe is pretty comfy, but may need an insert for the ball of the foot, as that seems to be the only area that could use a little extra padding. Once I do that, I think these will be the perfect shoes! The actual shoe size seems true to size, as I usually wear a 6.5 in this type of shoe (I like to wear cute argyle socks with them) and that is what I purchased."

Modern Mary Janes meets Preppy Oxford Pump
"They look in person as they do online. I'm a big fan of Born and b.o.c. that are in more modern, chic styles because they are usually my most comfortable shoes. Surprisingly this pair is not as comfy as most. They have the same cushioned insole, but it feels like the arch support is missing... maybe because of the heel height? Unfortunately the ball of the foot area is too narrow for my foot (my foot is average width). The heel also felt pretty high for how it appears, considering the platform stacking in the front and the thick heel."
