"These boots are awesome! I get complements everytime I wear them. I usually wear very "girly-girl" styles (lace, bows, frills, bright colors, etc.), so these shoes were a change for my style. They are so darn comfortable and cool that I wish I could wear them to work."

"These boots have bad zippers. Whether you buy online, or in the store, the zippers are all bad. If you "think" you get a pair that work... don't be fooled They WILL Break!"

Poor quality
"These boots are a very poor quality, the zipper broke the first time the boots were worn. DSW kindly gave a refund and apologized for offering a substandard product. Overall Madden Girl quality continues to decrease, luckily DSW has lots of other brands to choose from."

Loved them, but they broke!
"I loved, loved, loved these boots. I saw them online during the summer and then finally bought them in the fall. I had to wait for weeks for them to be restocked and then shipped and I was so excited when they came in the mail. I had them for a week, proudly wearing them when one day the zipper of one of the boots split at the heel. This was quite disappointing. The piece on one of the boots to hold the laces on the tongue was also sewn improperly and was also broken. I called DSW customer service and they were polite and very understanding, but apparently they have been having an issue with their vendor and they advised me not to buy another pair. :("

love the boots, terrible zippers
"I love almost everything about these boots: they're stylish, comfortable, and go with almost anything I wear, but the zippers are terrible. For the first week or two I just thought they weren't working well because the shoes needed worn and worked in a bit, but after a couple of weeks they are still very difficult to zipper, and yesterday the zipper on the left shoe split, so I can't even wear them now."

LOVE!
"I am not a veteran online shopper. These boots were the frst I have bought from DSW. From looking at the reviews and looking for hours at the close up of the leather / comparing them to other boots. I finally decided to buy them. I have narrow feet and wear an 8.5. The fit very well, not too snug to the width of my feet or length. I got A LOT of compliments from these boots and when i decided to fold them down and wear them with shorts, I also got a load of compliments, people thought they were a whole different shoe. It's a great shoe, stylish, but also casual. AND the quality is great for its price. Buy Buy Buy!"

Cute but not Perfect
"One of the boots came with a broken clip button, but aside from that, the boots are cute. The pattern doesn't look exactly like the one shown online either but the online photo gives the general idea. I'm still considering whether to swap them with another of the same kind with a proper clip or to return them altogether, just because they aren't THE boots I was looking for. Still cute boots though."

Defective boots -- returned 2 pairs
"The zipper in most of these Zorba boots is defective. Bought my granddaughter a pair for her birthday -- she loved them, but we had to return them as the zippers are no good (separated, etc.) 2 days later, we ordered another pair in her size through DSW and those boots had the same problems with the zippers....unwearable. Finally returned them for credit -- very disappointed in Madden shoes."

Cute, Comfortable; Don't use the zipper.
"It's a good thing these boots are so cute and comfortable, or I would have returned them. I bought them in store and they were fine, and then the first time I tried to wear them at home the zipper broke. It split up the back but was still connected at the top. Because they didn't have any more in my size in stores or on line to exchange, I had to take them to a shoe repair place to fix the zipper, where they told me that if it came apart again it would cost $45 to fix. So now I just don't use the zippers at all, and it's all good :)"

Love them!
"I tried these on in the store in a different color, but they didn't have them in black , so I made my first shoe purchase online. They are light and still have that funky combat boot look. I also love the fact that I can wear them high or low. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the difficulty of using the zipper. It's not smooth at all, which is the only reason I gave them four stars instead of five."

LOVE the boots
"My 16 year old daughter and I both love these boots. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but the 9 fits perfectly. I wear these with my sweater dresses and leggings. Many compliments when I wore them to work."

"These boots were very poorly made. Stitching was off in places and the back zipper broke. I thought it was just my pair but when i went to exchange them there were like three more pair with the same problems.. Not worth the money."

Cute, comfy boot, bad zipper
"I found these in the store and loved them in brown. I'm normally a 9 1/2 but they only had nines. They were a little tight but I have wide feet. Because they were so adorable, I bought them, even though the zippers were already sticking horribly in the store. The first time I wore them, the zipper came unthreaded but the zipper stayed up. This meant I had to struggle for 15 minutes to get them unzipped, rezipped, unlaced and put back on. Then they did it again twenty minutes later. I have to take them back :( you'd think Madden Girl would know how to make a zipper!"
