Nice leather, good boot
" I was surprised at how nice and rich the leather was. The pebbled texture adds a very nice touch. The buttons are also a cute detail. The shoe runs a touch narrow, but I'm confident they will break in nicely. Also, if you have wider calves these boots are still worth a shot. I wear a 9 and have a 16" calf, and despite the fact the description says these have a 15" circumference, they now zip up my calf with no problem after wearing them a few times (although they were quite tight the first time I tried to zip them). "

Love the detail!
" I bought these riding boots for the detail that you don't usually see, in black. The calf is a little big for bare legs, but fit perfectly fine with jeans. They fit true to size and are comfy, the only problem I have is that they rub right under my right ankle, which I am hoping will go as I break them in. "

Not what I had hoped...
" I bought these in brown. The color is not as rich as it appeared in the photo, but the real issue for me is that they are too big in the calf area. Otherwise the size is true. I'll have to return these and keep looking. "
