LOVE!
"I have been searching for months for the perfect black riding boots and these are it! They're stylish AND soooooo comfortable (I rarely find shoes that meet both criteria). Other reviewers are right... they run about 1/2 size large. Also... I'm 5'6" and the shaft hits about an 1 1/2 inches below my knee."

love the look of the leather
"The boot looks & feels great. Nice solid boot. And I like the fact that the sole of the boot is also leather. There is not guessing here if the boot is or is not leather. One look and you know. I finally found a boot I like. I like & purchase Frye boots so when I saw these at a glance I first thought that's what they were. The styling is similar."

Beautiful boots!
"I get compliments on these boots everytime I wear them. Got them in the brownish color and they are just the right look for dark skinny jeans and autumn/winter colors. They are a little on the uncomfortable side so beware. The toe is very hard and can cause pain so wear thin socks or go a size up."

SO CUTE, SO uncomfortable!!!
"I bought these boots in black a couple of weeks ago because they were absolutely gorgeous and I wanted something stiff and tall (not slouchy), with some simple embellishments, instead of all the buckles and zippers that seem to be trending. The first time I wore them I couldnt believe how much they HURT! The buttons on the sides seemed to dig into my ankles. I have small to average calves and ankles. Anyway, I thought they needed to be broken in - I WAS WRONG! I wore them about 4 times throughout the week, trying thick socks, bandages around my ankles, EVERYTHING - and by the end of the day on the 4th day of wearing them, I literally couldnt handle the two block walk to my car after work. My local DSW was so helpful and allowed me to return them even though they had been worn. Thank goodness, because with a pricetag of $150, I would not have been a happy customer with boots I couldn't walk in!
Like I said, these boots are absolutely gorgeous. I wish they didn't hurt so bad, because I would have paif $250 for these if they were comfortable!"

Not at all impressed!
"I am not at all impressed with these boots. I ordered them from the internet, and when I opened the box, I was disappointed with the quality of the material. No they are not leather and they don't even feel like a good fake. They are going back to the store."

Love my new boots!
"These boots are just so stylish and yet so comfortable! I bought them in black and getting them in brown. They run a little big but it all depends on how you wear your boots. If you wear them with thick socks then buy your regular size but if you usually wear them with thin socks or tights then go 1/2 size down."

LOVE THESE!!
"I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed! They stay true to form thanks to the zippers and I even love them more than my Frye boots, and the price is great! They are super comfortable but still a dressy-casual boot. I have gotten so many compliments too, I think they look more expensive than they are!!"

Cute, but super wide
"I bought these boots because I liked the button detail down the side and they weren't too expensive. When I got them, I was a bit disappointed in the leather quality. They honestly don't feel like real leather. Also, they were extremely wide in the calf--I have average size calves, so on someone with wide calves, they would fit great. The other problem is that at the ankle, they fit really wide and have a big bulky look. When I put them on, they looked like galoshes to me. Back to the store they go!"

Look much more expensive than they are
"I searched the internet high and low for a pair of cognac boots that were real leather, under $200, and had some unique detailing of some sort. I was thrilled when I finally found these, and just as thrilled when they arrived. Unfortunately, the shaft was so tall on me that they hit me just slightly above the bottom of my knee (I'm 5'3 but my legs are also particularly short). And at a glance with dark pants on, they looked like over the knee boots which is not a look I particularly like. At $150, I just couldn't justify keeping them unless I really loved them. So back they went. They are gorgeous boots though. If you have longer legs or don't mind a tall shaft, don't be afraid to try them"

"I tried these on in store and REALLY wanted them. These were not meant for me because they buckled inward at my ankle and no matter what I tried they were painful. Could have just been me. They're so cute... hope they are better for someone else."

Versatile, comfortable
"This boot is a gorgeous color and the "buttons" give it a little something extra. The leather was not as soft as I hoped, but it is still a comfortable boot that I'll be able to wear with jeans tucked in or out or with skirts."

"I loved these boots - especially the detail on the side. I followed the measurements, but unfortunately when I received them - the calf was way too small. Normally, I don't have trouble with the calves, but I was extremely upset these didn't work out. I hope they make them in wider calves next year! Color was great - little dulled compared to the picture. The heel does dig into the side a bit in the back, but I think with thicker socks - it would be fun until they are broken in."
