" Good shoes from Rockport, keeps your feet warm. One issue I'd like to note is these don't work well on ICY/WATERY surfaces, especially on ceramic/textile. Otherwise great shoes, 100% waterproof and fine to walk on snowy terrain. "

great purchase, just in time
" I work at a university that is DREADFUL on clearing sidewalks in the wintertime - and my job takes me all around campus pretty regularly. These boots are all-day comfy, keep my feet dry in the slushpuddles that always form near curbs and in crosswalks, and are just that much dressier than full-on hiking boots -- meaning that I can get away with wearing them most days that do not require me to fully suit up. The leather seems to scuff a bit on the toes, but a quick application of leather conditioner (or even hand lotion in a pinch) makes them look good as new! "

Great boot
" I was looking for a casual boot for work that looked a little nicer than a typical hiking boot. I've really liked Rockport shoes in the past so I thought I'd give these a try. They live up to the Rockport standard in comfort. The only thing I'd point out is that the seem to run a little wide. I usually get 4E in New Balance or ASICS sneakers, so I got these in 2E. Probably would have been okay with the standard width. "

Great Boots, fits great, comfortable!
" I have purchased Rockport shoes and boots previously and they always seem to fit me well. I think my feet tend to be more narrow as I can not wear slip in shoes, they have to be tied or they fall off. Anyway these fit well, very comfortable, simple classic look. Waterproof feature is great for snowy Denver. "
