"I wasn't sure I was going to like this boots when I ordered it online but it was a good buy. Very warm and comfy! As others rated, calf area is narrow which isn't a problem for me."

Sturdy, pretty, comfortable & waterproof boots!
"La Canadienne has a very strong reputation for well-made, comfortable, yet stylish looking shoes (they make more than just boots), but they tend to be pricey. These were the most affordable ones I could find online. I was needing a pair of winter boots that were affordable but are also waterproof after having moved to NY. These are awesome. They even have temperpedic material so you can walk on these for hours in comfort and plus they are waterproof and very warm -- and they are also pretty!
The calves tend to be narrow -- if you tend to have larger calves, you may need to go 1/2 to 1 size larger. Highly recommend."

Great for skinny calves!
"I have really skinny calves and look like I'm swimming in most boots, but these are not knee high, they hit mid-calf and looked SO CUTE! They are also so comfortable that I didn't even have to break them in and really high quality. One of my best shoe purchases, ever, hands down.
Word of warning: shaft might be too tight for most calves & also beacuse of the wool on the inside I would order 1/2 size up (which I never do, but was super glad I did) or they may be too tight/narrow."

Best boot ever!
"These simply are the best winter boots ever. Stylish, plush and ultra warm, they are uber comfortable and go well with skirts as well as pants. Worth every penny. Had my first pair for 3+ years."

Style and Comfort!
"Just got these! They look great, and one cannot deny that the price is unbelievable for La Canadienne. A few things: The boots are tight fitting. They are lined with thick fur so they will be snug. They are of an average length but they are tight all over - again because of the fur. I would consider ordering one size up if you don't mind having them loose around the ankles and the calves. I personally like them to fit tightly so I am going to wear them (with very thins socks) till they stretch. I certainly recommend them. The leather looks expensive and high quality. They are impeccably put together and they look great with short skirts and dresses even!"
