wide calf
" These are a very comfy shoe. They run true to size but have quite a large calf area. I have no need to undo the zipper to pull them on. Just the right amount of cushion in the sole and they feel great with socks. They look great with my chinos and am looking forward to wearing Them with a pair of skinny jeans. "

Highly recommended
" These are very true to size. They are a little narrow at the pinkie toe but not so much to cause a blister or pinch. If u plan to wear thick socks I would order half a size up. I ordered the grey - very nice. These are well made and I had no problems walking at work in them. The heel is very stable. These will most likely get a lot of wear as winter progresses. Love them. I am very happy with my purchase. The soles do have some tread. Important for winter. "

great with jeans
" a great general purpose boot to wear over jeans--the calf is wide enough and the elastic gore (which I thought would look funny but really doesn't stand out in person) really helps accommodate pants. Comfy, too--a substantial enough heel that you feel solid on the ground. Not the classiest material, but just fine for weekend wear. Definitely a keeper. "
