two thumbs up
" This is my fourth pair of wide calf Bare Traps boots, so I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting! This is certainly not a super high quality boot--the reason I ordered these is because the faux leather on the pair I bought 3 or 4 years ago was peeling pretty badly. But for $50 I'll take it. This brand is the only one I've tried that actually fits my 16" calves. "

Finally-just right, right price!
" I bought these after trying on dozens of boots in the fall. Most were too glossy/shiny, I didn't want suede, and I was picky about the rise on the boot. I also have wider calves so I needed a wide-opening boot, and I didn't want to pay a fortune for the other designer-label pairs that I found (hello, Ralph Lauren and Dolce). These boots were perfect! Got them on clearance, and they wear really well over regular jeans tucked in to the boot. They feel like flats because the heel is only about an inch, and they are SO comfortable- important to me because I have plantar fasciitis and I'm a teacher, so I really need something that treats my feet well. One downside is that I don't have wide-width feet, just wide calves, and I feel like these boots are a little wider than I expected. Just wear an extra pair of socks. Love them! "
