VERY wide
" As others have said, this calf is a VERY wide calf. I measured myself to look for knee high boots and found i was a 16'' calf. This was one of the only boots to claim that wide a calf, but when i tried them on they leave huge gaps around my leg -- they do not hug. It just makes my calves look bigger. Despite the EXTREME cuteness of the boot by itself, i do not like them on me and will have to return. "

Boots that fit my Budget

" I was able to purchase affordable leather-like Boots that carried just the right heel length for that on-the-go style of mine. Its not always about that high heel but for style & comfort. Being an unemployed graduate student DSW recognizes that and prepared a shoe that fits everones' budget . They are so comfortable. I will be referring my sisters and friends to the local DSW store Immediately!! Thank you DSW,..Happy Holidays.. ICR "
