super cute sassy
" ran a bit large in calf and long in length so I returned for this size 8...normally a solid 8.5. 8 was perfect, sole a bit slippery, but i added sole traction pad and no slipperiness! Yay! "

Sizing, quality, shipping
" I ordered these boots in both the brown and black. Both are beautiful boots that have a surprizingly upscale quality. Especially for the price point!
In my opinion, the black are the nicest in appearance and are absolutely stunning. The hardware does not look cheap. The leather is smooth to the touch on the black and the color a muted black. The brown are a different texture of leather; sort of a crackled and slightly rough to the touch look. The color had a shiny appearance but not as much as patent leather has. They're still very attractive and worth the money.
My calf measures 17" on one leg and 17 1/4" on the other (at widest point).
These boots zipped up nicely on the 17" and were just a slight bit tight zipping up on the 17 1/4" calf. I would think a maximum size for the calf would probably be 17 1/2".
I'm 5'4" with a 31 1/2" inseam. These boots hit me about 2−21/2" inches below my knee. I wear a size 7 1/2, medium width shoe normally but ordered a size 8 for extra room for winter weight sox. The toe box was just slightly long and the width was snug but not tight. If you wear a wide width normally (which I don't) then a medium width will more than likely be too tight.
The only reason I returned both pairs is because the heel was too high for me...I have low back pain and the heel height aggravated it. But....given the height of the heel they were still quite comfortable and easy to walk in..although the drop from the heel to the toe box is pretty steep. If this boot had a platform under toe box I'm sure I would have been able to wear them.
Overall....these are gorgeous boots that rival much more expensive boots for quality. I normally buy my shoes at Nordstrom's and these boots are every bit as nice as most of the boots they carry. "

Love 'em!
" I have small feet and always find it hard to find a boot to fit them, that's not too tight in the calf. There are great! At first I thought they might be a little snug on my feet, but after just a couple of hours it felt like I'd owned them for years. "
