Just right!
" I wanted to find something that would fit my wide calves so I can wear them over jeans, have a casual low or flat heel, a feminine toe, just the right shade of cognac, and neither break the bank nor look cheap. I had a different boot spotted, that was twice the cost, and leather, but I didn't grab them before they sold out. These ones are very similar, and while not leather, they look great.
The cognac is a tad darker than I expected - in fact, the box actually says light brown - but they are still a nice color. I like the buckle detail at the ankle and at the top of the boot. The top buckle can even be adjusted for more room if you need it. I have them on right now with jeans tucked in and they fit great... no contorted leg stretching to get the zipper up. ;-) I think they'll look awesome with tights or leggings too. They are comfortable, stylish, and fashionable. They are not heirloom quality leather boots. But they'll last a couple of seasons, and with a sale price, coupon, and free shipping, i got a fantastic deal from DSW. "

" I love love love these boots! I have always had troubles finding tall boots to fit my calves. Regular ones are always too tight and wide calf ones are almost always way too big. These are right in between and perfect "
