Everything you read about this boot is true!
"Received my order this week & am SO pleased with this boot. It fits well around my curvy calfs and am so happy to FINALLY wear a long look boot. Thank you, DSW for a great product at a great price!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the fact that it's man-made material."

A little disappointment!
"I read the reviews and thought this boot would be a hit for me, but they do run a little on the narrow side and big on the wide calf. The reason why I say I was a little disappointed was because I had only worn them 4 times and the inside lining on the right boot fell apart so I had to return them. This may be a onetime defect, but I also felt the boots need a little more padding in the sole! After about an hour, my feet felt like they were walking on concert!"

"Looked forever for true wide calf boot. Sent back more boots than I can count, with no luck!
These are the real deal...My calf measurements are 161/2 &163/4 and I have thick ankles. I wear a size 8.

Ordered the wide calf in black. Zipped up with jeans tucked in and the elastic did not even stretch! These boots do not look like Wide Calf and are very slimming. Comfortable from the get go...wore all day. Ordered the dark brown & fit the same. I am one happy girl!!!"

"I really needed new black boots and overall, I'm super pleased with these for the money. They seem to be made very well and I expect they will last me a few seasons. The calves are actually a little too wide for me but not enough for me to really be unhappy about it. The foot is a little narrow, but nothing a thicker sock can't fix. They're really cute and versatile! I recommend them!"

boots for my calves!
"I admit, my review might be skewed because these are the first wide calf boots I've owned. That said, they are the only boots that I can zip up without stretching them to the max. The widest part of my calf is 16 inches, about an inch or 2 below my knee. I don't even have to stretch the boots to zip them! The foot part is narrow; I have narrower feet than the standard and they feel a little snug with thick socks on."

Looked forever for these boots
"I have looked in every store, even DSW for 1) boots to fit my 16" calves and 2) for a reasonable price. I have never bought shoes online before. I have a very high arch as well so most shoes don't fit. These are wonderful. The arch part is a little tight but will stretch over time."

LOVE THIS BOOT!
"Very comfortable, and not too wide. Perfect fit for just an average athletic calf. I would definitely buy in more colors in they were available. I bought the black pair and they work perfectly for business casual at the office and weekend wear."

Quality counts
"Pros: A good riding boot really pulls together an outfit; goes great with jeans or dress/skirt. I like that it's simple; I don't like a lot of buckles/studs/whatnot on my shoes. Fits a wide calf, I'm 15" and can wear with a pair of leggings..I didn't try it with jeans but it shouldn't be an issue.
Cons: I probably wouldn't keep it for more than a season or two, though. It's faux leather. You can't see it but it feels awful. Very stiff. The foot was a bit narrow, I had to take it to the cobbler's to be stretched."

Great but...
"I first tried the regular calf boot on in the store...couldn't zip up all the way so I ordered the wide calf in black since I have 16" calf's.
They fit my calf's with a little room to spare for jeans or tights/socks/leggings which was great...BUT.....the foot is TIGHT like I need a wide foot as well. I didn't feel it in the regular boots I tried on in the store but the foot is real tight on the wide calf ones. I'm hoping they can be stretched because I can't walk in them if they don't stretch a little. Will prob have to return if they can't be stretched in the foot."

Love Em!
"Absolutely love these boots! Obviously everyone else does too...wore them the other night for the first time & received so many compliments; several people asked to try them on. They are so comfortable, they are like that pair of old favorite broken in boots that you can't seem to throw away but from the first day! Run true to size...only minor issue I have is that regular calf boots tend to be too small for me so I ordered Wide Calf and they seem a little too wide. They still look great with jeans though and I plan on wearing these for a very long time!"

"I am absolutely in love with these boots! I have 16" calves and they fit perfectly which is impossible to find and the little hidden elastic panel, though unneeded, just makes them all the more comfortable. I don't have any trouble wearing them with jeans either. The heel height is perfect as I hate walking on flat feet. I usually wear an 8, but ordered a 7.5 because that's all they had in the color I wanted and they fit absolutely perfectly!"

Wish I wasn't one of those people
"I was so excited, I wish I could love them. They are beauriful, if there had been a wide it might have worked. I have the calf to big for regular size and to small for this, but I would have dealt with that if the foot had been wide enough. I'm not giving up, I think I'll return to the store and see what they have."
