"These are great to look at but too tight in the calf section.
After a couple of wears it is still too tight at teh calf but somehow manages to slide down and bunches at the shin :( I should have returned these when I had difficulty zipping them all the way up when I first tried them."

Runs Narrow but Big
"I receive compliments every time I wear them. They are nice boots alright. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but I bought them a half size smaller. I feel a bit uncomfortable on my left foot which is odd because my right foot is bigger than my left, and my right foot's fine. I guess I need to break them in a bit more. I wore them three times all in a short period of time, so lets see how much my left boot will stretch. Lol. I happened to get them on sale in the DSW store for $104. Great boots for a great price. Go Get Them!!!"

Great Black Boots!
"These boots are great! The leather is very nice quality and these boots were a steal for $69.95 (got them on sale). The heel and gold accents make them dressier than your standard riding boots. But yet these boots go well with skinny jeans and a dressier top. I've also worn these with tights and a silk patterned knee length skirt with tights for a great look. For a girl that usually doesn't go for gold accents, you know it must be done well! The shaft of the boot fits well over what I consider my "average" sized calves and I bought these in my typical shoe size. Buy these boots; you'll love them!"

Beautiful
"These boots are gorgeous and I got so many compliments on them. They seemed a LITTLE narrow and weren't as comfortable as I'd like, but I probably needed to break them in a little more before I decided to walk around Paris with them on! They are beautiful though and I love them...just need to stretch them a little before I decide to wear them walking again..."

Gorgeous!
"These boots arrived Thursday and I have been wearing them all weekend. They are comfortable even on my wide feet, but they did take some "breaking in." The slight sheen is gorgeous and the gold accents totally make the boot. I'll be wearing these till Spring and will be excited to unpack them again next Fall. Fantastic find. Lots of compliments already."

Love Franco Sarto
"I bought these boots because I love Franco Sarto shoes. They are beautiful, but the trim is not leather, fyi, and the very top of the shaft I found to be a bit tight... would be 5* if there was a small elastic piece for stretch, but I'm keeping them"

I'd give this boot 4 1/2 stars
"These boots were the last pair available and I tried them out on a whim because I noticed they were real leather boots. I absolutely LOVED the way they looked. These are a beautiful pair of boots. I love the gold trim around the heel; it makes the boot stylish and chic.
On the negative side, the boots run a little narrow - or it could be that I just need to break them in, but either way upon purchase, it's a narrow fit. I have an average calf and the boot fit perfectly around the calf area, so the narrow fit is limited only to the foot.
Otherwise, I recommend this boot based on the style and fact that it is real leather--at least the upper portion--so it will have a longer life than faux leather boots."

Better for Larger Calves
"I saw these boots online and tried them in a store. I really wanted to get them. I wear size 9.5 and I have very thin calves (mind you, I weigh 100lbs). These boots were so large on the calves that there was a huge gap (at least 1.5 inches) between the calves and the shaft. Not flattering at all! Also, I found that size 9 fits my foot better, but the shaft is still too large. It's too bad that these boots are too large for me. They are VERY beautiful and would order them if they fit!"

It looked a lot better online
"I ordered this boot online but was disappointed when it didn't fit well. It would probably fit better on slender and longer legs. I am 5' 2" and usually wear 14-14 and 1/2 calf circumference boots but this one felt tight on my calf and roomy around foot and ankle. The length of the boot was also uncomfortable because it hit my knees with every step. It's not shiny as shown in the picture and the leather is flimsy compared to its price. Details on the boot is pretty but not worth keeping for me. I returned it at a local store."

Bunching ankle
"Everything was perfect except bunching at the ankles that ruins entire looks!
Leather was so soft and top quality and as many people have already mentioned, the goild trimming was excellent.
But I can't stand bunching ankles!"

"Have had these boots for about 2 1/2 months and I really love them! Am thinking about getting another pair for when they wear out. They are really comfy and a great everyday boot. LOVE the gold hardware especially and so does everyone else based on the many compliments I get whenever I wear them!"

Classic riding boots with a unique touch!
"I tried on a million pairs of boots before somewhat splurging on these for the fall-- and I love them! They're totally classic, nice quality (discovering from each new pair of Franco Sarto shoes how much I love the brand!), and will never go out of style, but they also have the unique touch of the gold trim on the heel and other gold detailing. Beautiful boots and a staple in my fall wardrobe! Already getting lots of compliments."

Disappointed
"The photo looks great but the boots were very disappointing in person. I didn't expect them to be a top, premium quality boot considering the awesome price but I didn't expect the leather to be so thin and easily creased either. It was pretty stiff... certainly not as glossy and fine as in the photo. These boots looked very cheap to me so I returned them the next day."

Overall, Good!
"When I tried them in the store, I thought they were comfy for boots with heels. It took a bit of time to break into them - my pinky toes hurt in the beginning - but now they've gotten comfier.
Look wise, they look sexy, especially with the gold lining.
If you don't want a pair of boots that are flat or too high, you could try these. Went to school and clubbing in these."
