Not Wide Enough
" I really wanted these to work. I have been searching for boots - both dress and rain - for over a year now with no luck. Based on things I've tried on in stores (that didn't work for one reason or another), I thought these would fit. They don't. The foot is comfortable, but the calf is not. I am under 5' tall, and it turns out these are about 1/2" too tall. Also, I'm thinking the 6.5 must not be 16" in the calf because I had to fight to zip them up - my calf is 15" - 15 1/2", and then I had muffin top of the knee because of it. It's disappointing. I'd been looking forward to these since I ordered them. I knew it'd be a shot in the dark, but based on the description, I really thought I'd be safe ordering online.
The boot itself is really nice looking, soft leather, seemed sturdy for the little bit of time I had it on. I do also have a wide foot, but that seemed fine. I think these designers need to learn that 16" really isn't all that wide for a wide cut, and that short people can have large calves too, so please make some boots shorter. If you have a smaller calf, I would get them which is why I'd still recommend them. They are nice, but if you are short with a wide calf, keep looking. "

Terrible!!
" I was so excited to see boots that were reasonably priced and I was so incredibly disappointed when I got them home. The color is NOTHING like the picture. They are dull and appear scuffed. I even tried to shine them and that did not even work! I am so thankful they allowed me to return them and I found another pair inthe store. The fit was perfect (which is the only reason it recieved two stars) but the leather was awful!! I really wished they were true to the description and picture! "

Love them
" I've gotten many compliments on these boots in the dark brown color. I have wide athletic calves and these wide ones fit good with a little extra room! Very comfy and easy to walk in. I'd definitely recommend them! "
