Love these boots
" I love these boots. they are so very comfortable and I would love to get them in all sorts of colors. It is hard for me to find boots because of my calf's and these boot were just right. LOVE them and fashionable. "

Finally, a sexy boot for a wide calf gal!
" I have an extremely wide calf (17 1/2) and this boot not only hugs my calves when I put them on, they thin them out via the cut and heel length. They are very comfortable to walk in and compliment a knee length skirt/dress perfectly. I got them in brown which is pretty dark and almost looks black from a distant. Since they are not leather they do have a shinier look and can make a little noise when putting them on as you are trying to break them in. Overall, great price and great look! I'm happy! "

The material ruins the boot
" This is a really nice looking wide calf boot. It was one of the few wide calf boots that actually fit around my calf. The heel height is very comfortable and does not put extra pressure on the ball of your foot. The boots do run very long and very wide. I went down 1/2 of a size, but could have gone down a full size and still been comfortable. While the foot of the boot was really well made, the construction of the staff was just okay. It fit well at the highest and widest point of my calf but was very baggy around the ankle, but this may be fine for someone with a fuller anke. My ankle is very thin compared to my upper calf. The major defect of these boots is the material has a horrible smell that penetrates everything. I tried airing out the boots for two weeks and the smell still lingered. I had to return them. I knew they were man-made materials, but I have many shoes that are not leather that do not have the horrible smell. Not sure what went wrong "
