Great fall boot
" I was looking for tall brown boots that were both comfortable and stylish. This boot does the trick. It can be difficult to find zip up boots that bit well in the calf and these are amazing. I love the flannel lining, which adds extra comfort, as well as the snaps. "

Great boot
" I bought these in black and love that the leg shaft is not huge. I could be wrong, but it seems that when you get up into the size 10 or 11 range, the calf gets really wide on boots. These do not, they look slim on the leg. I usually wear 11 but ended up with a 10 in these. "

Love these boots! (LONG REVIEW)
" I went to the local store and tried on a good 20 pairs of boots. These, unexpectedly, fit the bill. I wanted something a) casual enough for everyday wear, b) something I could actually wear all day, and c) cute enough to go out in. Now I wouldn't personally call these "sexy" - but they are definitely cute!
I love the fact that there is actual tread on the bottom (disclaimer - I am in Colorado... would I feel comfortable on ice and snow? No. But, will these be the only heels I am "comfortable" wearing in the winter/slight snow? YES! At least that I found under the $200 price tag).
I am a 8.5 in tennis shoes and an 8 in heels (usually). Some boots I tried on I was in a 7.5. These fit more like a tennis shoe (the 8.5 was perfect for me). I have a very narrow foot. So, like pretty much all boots, these are slightly wide on me, but compared to most they are on the narrower side (my foot wasn't sliding around). Also - they aren't the tallest (13'') but they are still in the tall category (I have long legs so I can definitely notice the difference).
BIG PLUS FOR US SKINNY/NO CALVES GIRLS: the calf on these is actually the narrowest I have found on the DSW website! Listed at 13¾" calf circumference. I can actually wear these with skinny jeans! I was lucky I just happened upon them in the store. They do have an inner stretch on the upper calf to aid with bigger calves - but if you know you need some extra room, try before you buy or look elsewhere.
The heel is really easy to walk in. In the store I was going between this pair and the G BY GUESS Ringster Boot. The guess boot is a wider calf and the heel is more like a "straight heel", whereas with the shape of these heels you can have more of a "natural roll" when you walk. Also, these seemed to have a bit more padding in the sole. Don't know how long that lasts for.
These are lightly lined and seem like they might actually provide a little bit more warmth in the leg. One weird thing: the zipper is on the outside, but I am sure that won't take long to get used to.
The store didn't have my size in brown (I tried on the black), so I am just waiting for mine in the mail. Will update if anything changes.
Note: Why not 5 stars? Slight tread on the heel would be nice, more padding on the sole, narrower foot and calf and slightly taller shaft (but that is in reference to my perfect dream world). "

Cute & Stylish
" These are great boots. I have smaller calves and these boots aren't too big around the calf area. They also look good with skinny jeans and run true to size. "
