great ankle boots
"I've worn these in the rain and snow, as well as nice weather, and they are still comfortable and don't feel slippery. I like the darker color around the heel and toes, makes them more unique. The leather is soft and goes well with tights or jeans. Zipper on the back is convenient, though on one shoe it sticks a bit. I had to buy at half size bigger because my store was out of my size, but I stuffed the toes a bit and now they work, so I would say they are true to size."

Cute and comfy
"These boots do run a little big. Usually I wear an 8 1/2, but the 8 fits well. Very very comfortable, almost surprisingly so. The zippered back is cool as is the darker toe, which makes them a little more rugged looking. Great deal!"

Very cute, but not as comfortable
"I still like these boots, but they are not an all day shoe even though the rubber sole seems like it should be cushy. I do wear them a lot, but just for shorter outings."

Pleasantly surprised!
"The shoes are fairly light, and the heel is balanced just right so that the fit is very comfortable. The sole is a bit thin (crossing a cobblestone street, I could feel the rocks for sure), but on regular pavement they were fine; the shoe does run a bit large, so I'll be getting a liner that will solve this problem. The sole is rubbery, not hard, so does not make much noise when walking - great for the office!
The zipper in the back was a bit odd, but it looks sleek, and the long zipper tab adds a fun accent.
I originally bought these to wear with pants and jeans because they are short, but they look great with tights (I'm 5'11", and mid-calf boots look odd, but these are much shorter and look great!)
The brown are leather, and in a matte rather than shiny finish. Color is muted, and the dark lowlights add a bit of a worn-in look.
I'm seriously considering buying a second pair in gray!"

Working in style
"I bought these boots a half-size larger so that I'd have room for thick socks. They fit well, and I really like the look of them--- they actually look broken in because of the "staining" around the sole. Perfect for work and play in Colorado."

Comfortable
"These shoes are very comfortable, and have a cute vintage look to them. The color "fade" - really it's darkening - at the heel and toe, which you can see in the picture, is not a trick of the light. It really looks like that in person too."

Nice but I don't like the location of the zipper
"This boot is nice and fits well. The biggest problem I've had is getting the zipper up. It is kind of weird having the zipper in the back and my socks seem to get stuck in them easily."

Tough, but Chic!
"Can I just tell you, I LOVE THIS BOOT! I bought them in the "Taupe Suede", which is marked on the box as "Grey Suede". The color is a little different, which I love! I had to wear thicker socks with them, as they do run slightly loose with dress socks. I *almost* brought them back, until I tried thick socks. I am so glad I didn't! Very comfortable, Biker Tough looking but total Chic! I'm in love!"

Awesome everyday shoe
"This is the first shoe I bought off DSW...Loved it. Very comfy and I feel like I could wear it with almost anything..the only thing I thought was slightly strange was the toe tint (dark brown). It's a little uneven on either shoe."

Great boties
"Look great and very comfortable. Love vintage look with oily lever on the front and back of boot. Heels just right for my height 5'10". Sturdy and non-slippery. I bought them on clearance for $39!!! Great look on the buck!!!!"
