Not what I was looking for
" These boots were a little too short for me. I was hoping that they hit the bottom of my knee. Also, they are a little too stiff for me and a little uncomfortable to walk in. "

Stylish and comfortable
" I really like these boots, they're easy to dress up or down. I ordered the cognac colour and I think it's pretty true to the photo on the website, a nice brown with a little bit of red, but not too much. I read a lot of reviews looking for information about tightness around the calf. I'm 5'7", 140 lbs, and athletic. I measured my calves and they are 15" around so I originally ordered the wide leg version. It was much too large so I exchanged it for the normal version and that fit perfectly. I've had a few blisters in the achilles heel area while breaking them in, especially when wearing thinner socks, but with thick socks or jeans tucked in there is no problem. The only things I didn't like about the ordering process with DSW is that it took much longer for the boots to arrive than I expected, well over a week. And also that the package was enormous, it was a large cardboard box with the boot-box inside it and all these big pouches filled with air taking up the extra space. It was hard to carry and also seems wasteful, so I would prefer if the package was smaller. "

love this boot
" Ordered this shoe in cognac with regular width calf and had to return. Will be reordering with wide calf- be careful when you are selecting width that it is talking about the calf size and not the base of the shoe-that was my mistake! Other than that I love this boot, especially the color. "
