Narrow
" Regardless of the advertised "Wide Calf", these surely are not. I loved loved loved the style of these boots, and was beyond disappointed when I could hardly get my foot into the boot, and when I did I was even more let down when the wide calf hardly zipped. I do not have extremely large calves, they are more muscular than most women but not so large that I should have problems fitting into a boot advertised as wide calf.
Basically, I could squeeze in, but these boots are not as advertised. Sending them back, and not happy about it! "

Tight but good
" I love these boots! They arrived in perfect condition.
I normally wear somewhere between a 10-11; some shoes run a bit small, forcing me into a larger size. These, however, were actually size 10 and fit well.
The heel is wide and comfortable. People who do not often wear heels, like myself, will be able to wear these comfortably for many hours at a time; I was able to wear them Christmas shopping, and they only began to wear on me after about 6 hours on my feet walking around stores.
The description of "wide calf" on these boots is not totally accurate; they are wider than the non-"wide calf" variety, but nowhere near as loose as Lane Bryant's boots. I ordered the wide calf boots rather than the regular boots in hopes that I would be able to wear them over jeans; that has proved to be a bit of a tight squeeze.
Still, overall, I love these boots! "

Excellent boots
" These boots are so comfortable. They feel like flats! I received many compliments the first day I wore them. "
