Wide Calf is too Wide
" I have wider calfs and sometimes like to order wide calf sizes on boots so I can wear thick socks underneath - these too wide for riding boots. If you would normally order wide calf boots - just order the regular ones, they are plenty wide. "

Good boot for a good price
" I was able to combine certificates and discounts so I ended up getting these boots for just around $100. I definitely think they were worth it. The leather is decent and I absolutely love the Cognac color. As far as wide width and wide calf go, these aren't as wide as some other boots I've tried on but they were just wide enough in comparison to regular sized boots that they fit me perfectly. I think if your calf size is over 16 inches and/or your feet are more of a D than a C width, then they may not be the boots for you. I just need a bit more width than normal so they work perfectly for me. There isn't a lot of support in them but I usually end up putting insoles in most of my shoes I plan on doing a lot of walking in so I don't see that as a problem. I'd recommend them. "

Great boot, very wide calf though.

" Purchased this boot for the wide width. Measured my calf at 15 1/2", decided for the wide calf. The boot was way to wide around the calf! Looked sloppy. Probably need at least a 16 1/2", even 17" calf to fill out this shaft. Unfortunate! I have a wider foot, and these fit perfectly everywhere else. It's too bad these don't come in regular calf with wide foot.
From trying these on, these feel very comfy! I have a size 11 foot, which is very difficult to come by boots for my size. I usually just squish into what I can get. Just so bummed that I have to return these. :( "

Exactly As Pictured
" I love this boot. I love the distressed look. The buckles are great. These boots look similar to a $300 pair I considered buying. I am happy I went with these instead and saved myself $150!
I want them in the lighter color now but they don't come in wide calf.
(the only thing I didn't LOVE was the back of the calf isn't straight across. It has a V shape. See DSW pics) "
